Time Warner Cable today announced the launch of Showtime Networks’ authentication service, SHOWTIME ANYTIME. Time Warner Cable Customers Can Now Access SHOWTIME ANYTIME® on Their Computer and Mobile Device

Improvements include support for longer sessions (no need to log in every 24 hours) and various bug fixes. Updates to both the Android and iOS apps were issued on November 25, 2013. “This is a significant milestone in our efforts to make SHOWTIME ANYTIME available to 100% of the multi-channel video universe,” said Tom Christie, President, Distribution, Business Development, and Network Operations for Showtime Networks. Mobile users (including Android devices, Kindle Fire, iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch) can download the Showtime Anytime app at the Google Play Store, Amazon Appstore, or iTunes App Store. On a PC, Time Warner Cable or Bright House customers can visit to log-in via a web browser. The Showtime Anytime access also includes Bright House Network customers who subscribe to Showtime.

Available programming includes live broadcasts from both the East and West Coast feeds of Showtime, as well as hundreds of hours of On Demand content. The service will let TWC customers who are subscribed to Showtime premium channels watch shows such as Homeland, Dexter, and Shameless away from their TV set. Time Warner Cable has launched the Showtime Anytime service for PCs and mobile devices on Android and iOS platforms.
